The difference between a sliced piece of bread and a dead babie is that the sliced bread fit in the toaster. The baby goes in the oven instead.
If you ever do think of an animation for this (say a pointy, insect-like leg at each of the four corners, for example) I'd love to see it.
Speaking of seeing things, does the toaster have a face? The knob is an eye and the dark panel in the bottom right corner a smiling mouth? Really adds some coolness to this for me, intentional or not!
