Good work! You should definitely venture into more animation now. It's quite fun. I've barely made any pixel art animations myself, though (only a few vector and traditional stuff), but I hope to create a few soon. :P
I edited this, Isn't perfect yet, I just agilized some frames (maybe it's tooooo much fast, but it's better xD
Thanks for the help : )
Thanks *-*
The weird trail is just to be an ghostly effect xD
Part that bothers me is that the motion streak still trails behind Gengar when he stops moving.
Nicely done :)
lol
Thank you very much ^^
Your edit seemed really better.
And thanks for the link^^ I will surely study it : )
Thanks again
See ya
Here, I made a quick edit for you. All I did was remove a few frames in the middle of the fast movements. See how they look much more "intense"? It's not perfect because you'd need a few extra frames at the start and end of these quick movements.
The general idea here is that acceleration and deceleration always take more frames, with less changes between them, than the in-between. It's one of the 12 basic principles of animation. Study them, and you'll improve your animations tremendously.
Keep the good work!
1ucas, ok, I edited with the 1x version^^
Thanks for the comments and tips^^ I will try to improve.
See ya
Thanks, I understood what you said^^
But for my first long gif Attempt, I am very happy^^
Thanks again
Please, don't upload 2x stuff. We have zoom buttons for that. It sucks not being able to see things at 1x.
As for the animation, it is interesting and quite well done, but the pacing isn't too right. You used too many frames for a quick movement (the dash), which destroys the illusion of speed a bit.
The effects also look rather dirty, like splashes of paint, but that might be because I'm seeing them over a light background.
Ah, a fine spectacle of fluid movement and pacing, this is! Most folks who try to animate fights tend to botch up the effects and attacks, which, aside from misdreavus' rather sketchy-looking beam attack, is not an issue here.
On the whole, I'd say this is a seamless animation and a success on your part. c:
Good animation!
