nice work man!
love the colors and the improvement,
first place for sure!
wow super nice feeling here with both color choices, definitely got my vote.
Nice job photo! Love that preveiw. The trees there look like they have eyes.
Wow cool. Quite an improvement. Like it very much now.
Yes, much better! Can't really tell what's that thing on the ground close to the werewolf (?), though. If that's supposed to be the same fox, then you could make it more clear and also switch both images so it's more readable as a story (left to right and all that). Would be more dramatic, I think.
The only major improvement left would be using different lighting angles, but I understand your time constraints so I know that would be asking for too much right now. Just sayin'.
Either way, good job, and good luck on the challenge! :)
Great use of the palette restriction... I really like the angle of view...
My only qualm is about the absence of wildlife or any other character...
Had to check that. I agree, it's MUCH better. It really adds up to the nocturnal feel.
This could easily be improved tenfold simply by changing #A8AD3D in the first image to #476F8B
I like it, I think the pixel... ing was really cool. But I have 2 problems with it:
1. It's just a palette swap from day to night...
2. It's a little generic of an idea
Nice, but before any animals or stuff, you should consider a difference of light in both pieces.
Nice colors! The main clearing of the grass in the night scene's color isn't very good though. Too bright and saturated.
Even with time constraints, you could add some simple wildlife, still. The daytime and nighttime animals on such a place would add a nice interesting detail to the piece, so it's definitely worth a shot.
Birds and squirrels vs. owls and some silhouette of a panther?
i love the colors used on it and the landscape is gorgeous.. but i dont see any difference other than day and night.. maybe add a bunny on the day side eating something or doing something and on the night side the bunny is dead :S
i love it, it would be even more awesome if there would be an animation :)
