Now that I think about it, I want to do a spinning animation.

I don't see how it adds/takes away but I did it anyway, I also got rid of the animation, it's annoying to stare at.

change some of the expressions

 Good so far! I would spend more time on it though, we still have 6 days left ^_^

There is not much I can do in the way of differing expressions without eyebrows/ears/lips.

Nice one :) You could have drawn a different expression on each face, the fact that they are similar isn't very intersting on a graphic point of view (and if you want all of them to be disgruntled and bitter, you could make a different disgruntled and bitter face for each).
