Maybe, I say maybe, you could use black to distinguish the legs behind from the foreground like in this dirty edit. I really don't know if its' better or necessary but well, you wanted an opinion :)

I tried making the outline a bit lighter, and I think I prefer the results to what I had. I've updated the submission file if you'd like to tell me what you think.

This is quite awesome, but the outline tends to flatten the whole creature.
