For ryan-gfx's totem pole project. The totem concept was created by So-lou, I just pixelled it. ^^ As I'm sure we all here are aware, this is Jack Skellington and Zero from Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas. Perfect movie, love it to death. Anyway, enjoy folks! (oh, and here's a small animation of the progress: click to see!)

The shading is wonderful! Looks sculpted. Great job, and a totem pole project sounds interesting, especially if there will be more great works like this one.

ryan-gfx: I just thought it would be proper to mention Burton incase anyone out there hadnt seen the film. It doesn't matter though because 1ucas has updated the description. I love the progress animation aswell, very handy for anyone out there who wants to learn your technique. Top stuff.

Actually iSTVAN, if you think about it, it was sohpie's concept, in context. Sure she didn't create the concept of the christmas door, but she did come up with the concept of putting it on the totem pole in this fashion, and thats why 1ucas gave her credit.

With all do respect, you can't really give So-lou credit for 'creating' the concept. 'Suggesting' would have been a better choice of words. And it wouldnt go astray to mention Tim Burton and the title 'A Nightmare Before Christmas' in your description.

Talking aside, this is a great display of skill! I havent actually checked out this project yet, just a few of the entrys submitted here. But I love this one. Awesome wood texture and awesome dithering over all :)
