the how you did the mix of colors` layers perfectly crafted, good job .. really!
The shading is wonderful! Looks sculpted. Great job, and a totem pole project sounds interesting, especially if there will be more great works like this one.
Very nice. I have to agree about loving that movie to death, I definitely need to watch it again sometime very soon.
Oh the nostalgic memories that come from this... :)
I loved the movie, and adore this piece. Good job!
@Deathmoon412
There was going to be another part on top of this part. so no use in texturing the top.
Great! The only thing I dislike is the top of the stump.
awesome movies

i think this is sooo awesome, you're a great pixel artist, i can only hope that i can be as good as you, etc, etc,
i tried pixeling jack the other, it came out like CRAP!!! i need to practice. how long have you been pixeling?
Thanks so much for including that animation link 1ucas. You and I are so different in the way we work.
As for the TNBC thing.... I think 1ucas did credit Tim Burton and the movie there iSTVAN.
iSTVAN, that's crazy, does that mean I have to mention Tim Burton in my NBC pieces, oh and not to mention tonnes of other movie credits for my other work? Besides, Lucas said 'As I'm sure we all here are aware, this is Jack Skellington and Zero from Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas. Perfect movie, love it to death.' therefore it's not an issue. How strange to nitpick like that, dude, seriously.
Lucas, you know how I feel about this totem. :D <3
ryan-gfx: I just thought it would be proper to mention Burton incase anyone out there hadnt seen the film. It doesn't matter though because 1ucas has updated the description. I love the progress animation aswell, very handy for anyone out there who wants to learn your technique. Top stuff.
With all do respect, you can't really give So-lou credit for 'creating' the concept. 'Suggesting' would have been a better choice of words. And it wouldnt go astray to mention Tim Burton and the title 'A Nightmare Before Christmas' in your description.
Talking aside, this is a great display of skill! I havent actually checked out this project yet, just a few of the entrys submitted here. But I love this one. Awesome wood texture and awesome dithering over all :)
