Weekly Challenge: Unpaletteable
That is an awesome cover. It is also very likely that chris foss influenced the artist who made it. you should try to get your hands on a copy of his book, it's a great one.

It is an amzing design, however I can't take credit for it. I'm still getting this pixel thing down, I hope in the near future to be pixeling my own glorious spaceships, hurtling through galaxies glinting in starlight! one day.
at least this was good practice and a fun challenge.
I think you did great. Don't think it detracts at all that you pixelated a BG. So what? You did it awesomely. Also, I think that the space background fits. It looks like the original - so why change it. Well done.
at first i was like "holy shit that looks like an amazing desing" and then i realised its just a resampled version of the reference using this week's challenge palette

I think the background is overpowering. Detracts from the wonderful ship. :)
Ah, I wanted to say: good ship design, but it is not yours originally.. Still nice :)
