These colors are put together soooo nicely. And I don't think that was an easy task either... Beautiful work!!!
wow!
also, I like the changes in the outermost border, changing as the piece changes.
I really like how you do the shading with the circles. It's a really nice effect.
I think it's awesome. You do lighting very well. It's quite a challenge to stay in a style, and added to that in a limited palette. Well doneth.
@Zweckform. Haha!...
@Everyone: Thx for your comments (nitpicky or not ;) )
Anatomy looks wrong ! For me it looks a bit abstract, just like you were focusing only on color, texture and composition.Like it.
I like how you can turn any palette into an awesome piece.
It's amazing what you can do with such color choices...faved.
Awww I'm working on a portrait of a female but the position is different. Anyway...
This is beautiful! However, the jawline is bothering me. I take it we're looking up at her slightly? If so, based on my reflection, that small bump on her left jaw could be flattened out.
I enjoy the color placement a lot. The underside of the neck/mandible where that lump is jutting out looks odd, like she swallowed something bigger than her throat, snake-eating style.
And the styledither kind of enters the realm of gross craterface at this point.
That is very very nice to look at. I bow to your awesomeness.
Referring to the Windows Se7en challenge, I assume?
Anyway, you definitely have a knack for pleasantly putting together any colour restriction thrown at you. My only crit is the shape of her nose; it seems far too flat and narrow. She should ask for a refund from the plastic surgeon.
Also, nice touch with the heart :P
winner found!
PS: YOU ROCK!!! i wish i knew how to do this.
Beautiful texturing and choice of colors
