Yes!
Iremeber this one from BP'10. kool stuff. and kool party btw ;)
Awesome nice shading and i love the moose in the background and has the question mark on top of it.
an lighter gamma for a cool picture, technics is cool, great !
Undeniably tomic. Wonderful image. Always love your pixeling style - namely how you handle detailing surfaces in such a way that engenders tons of visual interest. Also, I find your natural way of doing things honors traditional pixel aesthetics in a charming way. Not too many colors and over AA'ing, but just enough palette gamut to lend you enough room to make a great piece.
Not sure about the obvious discinction between fore and background - dark line outlining waterfall rocks, etc. The closest foreground rocks have no dark oultine.
Full marks.
He he! i love how you played with all this old bridge stuff... This one is realy nice - but my favorite is donkey on the cliff =) Anyway faved!
i like hidden parts to... ;)
Anyone else see a periscope in the small lake from the other waterfall right to the left of the tip of the submarine?
hehe, one did his homework ;D ..and for the record: yepp, it is the case!
thanks for the nice comments all, @saludas: well i know at least 5 who do better =) and @pragz+st0ven, you're right, cannot turn off 'overdetailing' things =) but i'll try some alternate background styles at this one.. for testing purposes at least.
Adorable and FAV!
I like to think that you drew some inspiration for the bg from 'the old bridge', even tho it might not be the case.
Love the rocks in the front, and the clouds in the back.
Glad you finally took GraFX2.2 for a spin. Even the fish love it, or so I'm told! ;D
I love how alive your art is and I don't think anyone here on PixelJoint do it as good as you.
You seem to have something mit U-Boten I have to say though that it's a pretty awesome piece! Not only the quality of the piece, but I also really like compositions with high contrasts between nature and industrial men-made buildings+vehicles
haha, when i saw the title it gave me a laugh. and I think this image in a full black background it would come out more.
Thanks for posting a wip.
Very style -ish, love the mini details in the picture, like the moose or the fishes :)
haha yeah i checked out your other ship pic in your gallery not too long ago - funny stuff! very fun concept. Id have to admit id be very curious to see how the cliff faces would have looked with a more flat, sheared look rather than the piled stone look. (ps moose bonus is awesome)
Amazing. I like emotion on the fishes' faces - excellent job!
Breath Taking
He Crashed it On purpose.... Fabulous Art Work man Impressive as always Love ittttt
How Come You Always HAve A deer and Those exclamtion points In your Artworks???
Eh, I don't know. With 21 colors I think you could have gotten a less grainy effect with the water, but that's just my opinion. Still pretty nice in the end. :)
P.S. - The cliff in the very far back (the part with the sign on it) could stand to be just a little less sharp and more out of focus. It kinda' stands out in an awkward perspective-defying way as-is.
(Hope you don't mind nitpicky critiques. You're very skilled and the small things are the ONLY things left to pick at. :P)
awesome palette!
