For the monkey avatar week-long event. He's going for the world record for longest time without sleeping. He's losing it though. Will he make it? Watch and find out! :)

EDIT: Major redo. Animation, shadowing, etc.

EDIT: Saturation improvement, thanks so much to onek for helping me out with understanding what that word meant. ;)

agree with all TINC said...especially work on ur colors... in a nightish setting colors arent that saturated, its more or less a blue tinted black and white... 

heres an edit i did yesterday... step1: original / step2: nightish colors / step3: applied very basic shading / step4: sculpted light around the volumes and added stars.....

try using less saturated colors, and watch the use of interior black lines (seems like it was colored with floodfill when you do this, and shows the over-reliance on line and neglect of form). Why not decide on a lightsource, and add shadows and highlights accordingly? Or add a shadow beneath the figure?
