ooh, that is interesting actually. I wish I had been aware of your intentions earlier, then.
@showtime: Ahhhh! That is good to hear actually! In the context of the story they appear in no one's really sure if they're real or stories, and they were supposed to be pretty creepy and scary when they showed up, so I'm glad it comes across. They also have a lot of predatory features and I think it's creepy to see predatory eyes or whatever on what is clearly a prey-animal body :)
These are great, I love them! But to be honest, the way you stylized the horse creeps me out a little bit, I feel that you've made it somewhat uncanny. Definitely the only complaint you'll hear from me, though.
It is not in fact a real animal! Just... kind of a random chimera of rodent-y type things although it does bear a certain resemblance to a chinchilla, I think.
Also I can make no excuses for my choice of presentation save to say that that white sticker effect induces intense nostalgia in me, dating back to my days of making pixel adoptables on Neopets. Yeah I'll admit it. I'll also admit that I still do, sometimes. And those white stickers were pretty much mandatory, so I have a weakness for them despite acknowledging that they aren't the classiest way to present anything. Good memories :D
Those fluffy-tailed-bunny-kangaroos can wreak havoc on one's garden...but you have captured the beauty of its natural essence! (Now you're gonna tell me it's a real animal and make me look stupid, right?) Btw. I think the plain white background worked better here.
Err... I guess that's a good reason to be resented? XD
I still have some stuff to do for Gryt.de so I imagine there will be another critters dump soon. I should really branch out... basically all I draw/pixel are cute animals =/
