I totally agree with you, I also think that's my best work so far, but I also know that I still have a long way to go.

I'm currently working on another pixel I think I'll post that one in the W.I.P section too once I have the outlines.

 Good Job, Great improvement. Sorry I disappeared in the thread. I tried to make you an edit, but i couldn't get it to look right. basically because your light source is on the right, and wings have some curve to them (across), i was gonna make the shading vertical instead of horizontal... Not sure how it would have worked out.

It's really good! Only the bottom edge of wing merges with the body, it would be better if it had a greater contrast relative to the body.

But anyway I like it, good work
