Color use is spot-on as usual. Aaand... that's really enough for me. There are a couple of imperfections in the details, but the colors and how you use them really set the piece apart.
Thanks guys!
Because of the pressing demands, I've added a link to the giraffe version. Don't expect too much.
DB: the (almost) white ribbon is the river Rhône, which actually shines in the lete afternoon light from up there. The whole bg might be too confusedly bright, always that problem of judging values on them damn mac laptop monitors.
DW: you're right, that unreadable horse is unreadable.
Another great landscape
I 'd love to see a giraffe in this, I think it adds to the usage of "unusal" hill colors.
One thing I noticed is that the second horse from the left side is very hard to read at X1 zoom, The head+ neck and the torso + the right foreleg are hard to distinguish but maybe that's just my eyes again.
I knew that was yours i love it ! Some of these horses could be refined a bit bu otherwise, this is damn cool
Ok, now all I can think about is giraffes!
The slightly abstract color use is interesting but it doesn't quite convey cold and snow, and the white at the horizon is a bit odd. But still; a nice scene.
Very nice scene, but I'm not getting a cold or wintery feeling.
It's amazing how you made the whole piece without any white. :/
Nice landscape ;-) and sorry for my horrible english. I speak spanish.
