Am I playing the same Fallout 3 as the rest of you have??? Why the hate? lol. I'll agree the beginning is a little tedious as it's still a bit of a long tutorial but once you get out into the world, find all the weapons and explore after many hours its great. Which other game can you sneak up on an unsuspecting supermutant, pickpocket it's inventory, then plant a live grenade and sneak away to watch him loose both legs in slow-motion!!!....hahaha.
I'm interested to know what you guys didn't like about it, but I suppose not everyone likes the same genres of music either. After working in the games industry for ten years I can't think of many better first person RPGs.
I also loved Fallout Tactics, the Turn-based Iso one ;o)
I haven't played Fallout 1 or 2 (oops, sorry) so I'll be hunting them down soon due to the recomendations from you all.
Fallout 2 was the best game. Sharp, depressing, and with lots of cussing. But Fallout 3 wasn't so bad. Regardless, this is good.
Fallout 1 is the best game ever made. Fallout 2 was also extremely awesome ... fallout 3 was ... never made! This is only a bad dream, I'll wake up soon! If you try to tell me otherwise, I'll stick my fingers in my ears and yell LALALALALALALALA!!
Gotta agree with Carnivac on this one. I'm glad I didn't actually pay for the game myself.
nicely done but goddamn Fallout 3 is easily my least fave game of this current generation. Wasted my money on that tedious crap.
