A grey/neutral BG makes art/colors stand out. This is why galleries choose greys and whites for walls most often...and PJ is a gallery :p
Oh. Hahaha! I know what happened. I tried the blue theme and then the black. Then the new v2.5 cam and the black was default(whitch isn't very good actualy. I mean for a default it's very depressing) So i turned back to a blue theme. I totaly agree with what Sly suggested. I didnt post the px with a white BG because it looks quite bad then.
...and it probably does look good on blue. However, not everyone uses a blue theme.
Maybe there should be a option for a custom background color for each pixel art display that will show on every theme.
It would solve these outer aa issues.
That outer AA looks horrible on the new default grey theme.
you can
a) leave it alone but be aware that many will see it as wierd and ugly looking.
b) define a BG color so the AA makes sense. We don't like useless BGs but sometimes they do have a purpose and outer AA is the most obvious. Stating so in the description will get everyone to understand and cut you some slack
c) always submit art to appease the Mods themes so you don't end up with a lot of comments
