That looks really nice! And I like the perspective, makes it really interesting to look at. c:
The eye looks a little bit expressionless to me, but still awesome in general :]
Great palette and character, I have a one pixel critique though. There seems to be an unintended implied line on the left side of his eye. I think it could be improved if you broke it up a bit. Edit.
Bonus suggestion on the sword specular (so, I guess that's three pixels)
I'm right handed but sorta dislexic. Who knows why i like things right to left though. All I know is it helps me write arabic.
I'm right-handed, I almost always find myself drawing curves that go towards the left, and therefore when I draw people, they're almost always facing the left. Most of the things I have that are facing right were probably flipped.
Ontopic: I've always thought this was both well done and weird as shit since the moment I first saw it. A great take on a Knight.
@Adarias: are you left handed? because generally left handed people tend to have most of their isometric people facing the left side. I think its due to the amount of power in the left hand/arm so they want to display it by showing that power (whereas the right hand is behind the person usually).
As for right handers, they generally display the right handed power in the other arm (duh) so they draw the opposite way. (I was just discussing this with my brother before this was posted... its kinda'v a coincidince.)
but you can always invert the horizontal axis D;
I don't think even 1 pixel is out of place. Very nice!
Jal - I dunno if I'm bowing in thanks or defeat but there's definitely a bend at the waist :P.
Ptoing - I'm a right-to-left mind. 99% of my avatars face left. It's too bad I can't put them to the right of my posts, though...
I thought they were as long as they were controlled and used appropriately? It's not like it's adding to the image in any way, save for the ability for it to look good for all users on all themes. ):
My latest image's thumb used half-transparent pixels. Does this mean I should change that? o.o
@Pragz, to discourage bad habits on the lesser skilled, PJ does not allow transparent pixels. Adarias is highly skilled and a pixel legend of sorts...
...well, legendary for his bi-monthly high-minded verbal rants (95% correct)
The AA could always be replaced with 50% transparent pixels of the shadow's true color. Simple little work-around that makes it work on all layouts. :3
First I thought its somekind of bird (;looks like having two big eyes) then i read that its horse. Nice colours.
I like this a lot, funny stuff. But the shadow aa looks like arse on the default background here. I would suggest to add a small background perhaps (also I could throw in the olde facing away from the board/action crit as well)
I just saw this yesterday on Pixelation :p. Nice colors, they really pop out.
Your just hoarse'n around with this one!
