This is a kind of diferent concept than the usual hand made pixel art. It was generated by computer, by a program I've made.

It is a pixel art because each pixel influenciates the color of the pixels around him by some rules, making them desapear or become something impredictable. By that we create a constantly mutating art, so this is actualy one frame of the whole thing.

The piece name, Automata is the name of the "rules" that aplyed to each pixel in relation the the 8 surrounding to give it its color.

The Colors are quite hard to predict since I've let it free to the own program pick, so Im going to the maximum, even thou I have no idea.

ya, I dont think this will fit the pixelart guidelines of this website, but it is pretty cool.  So this thing would animate?  Maybe you could make a video out of it and set it to phycadelic music.

It is true that this is not a traditional way of thinking about it.

and is true that i've created it indirectly, but I think that the idea of the pixels themselves creating a piece like this is quite interesting.
