Just the first concept for the in-game sprite for the player. (reason for it only being one direction, and no including stuff like dieing animation, is the game engine handles direction changes and the other animation based on this sheet and the particle engine)

Sprites look interesting, but all the text is really a distraction.
the game engine handles direction changes and the other animation based on this sheet and the particle engine: I don't know what this means, but whatever you do, you should hand-animate as well for practice. Also it's hard to judge animated sprites when there is no anim. ;)
