Looks really cool, your color choices are good but you could've kept it at 20. Also the worm must be animated.
Thats better :P Maybe you used 44 colors in the process but ended up with just 32
Rostii: your comment about the colours got me thinking - I certainly didn't set out to use 44 colours, but that's what Photoshop was reporting I had used. So I brought it into Deluxe Paint and optimised the colours correctly. Turns out I was really only using 32 colours. :)
Took my WIP advice eh? This is defiantly pixel art. And good too.
The mouth cracks me up. That's a very unusual animation, congrats!
Manupix: I tried the hook & worm moving, and because of the low resolution, it just looked a little mechanical so I went back to static. Also, I wanted to keep the frame count low, hence not having too much recoil before and after the jump. Hopefully this gives it a nice snappy feel, and doesn't feel like it needs those extra frames. :)
Amazing!
The lower legs might have a little recoil before / after the jump too, and the worm might move. In fact the whole hook+worm might drift back and forth as if in a slow current.
cool and funny , I like it ^^
