Wonderful! Becasue of loading when opening this art, there is actually a slight effect of accerelation. We se first frame for a moment, than the seconnd one, and sometimes it stops there for longer, shows the first one again or goes straight into full speed. Each time you open or refresh the page it is different.

 That definitely looks a lot better. Something is still a bit off; maybe he should have some tail motion or something. Incidentally, why are the wings transparent?

Again, though, the bird's body is beautifully done.

 The bird is beautiful, but the animated wings damage the whole picture. Please do change them before the deadline! 

Try to make them similar to the dark blue/purple feathers that the bird has.

 Love the color scheme, but like Jabber said the animation is a little off. 

 Some sort of body movement might make the animation more convincing. I realize it has to be two frames, but it, well, doesn't really look that good. I mean, the bird looks awesome, but the animation detracts if anything.

Maybe a highlight on the beak?
