Yeah, at first it was going to be an underwater scene, but i thought it would look strange to call it underwater, so i choosed 'underworld'. In this pic i tried to reduce the colors as much as i could, and i used a digital table to draw the trees, that's why they look like this ; )

 Remember distance, the further away something is, the less contrast there is. :D!!!!

Also the lines that detail the dead trees seem to scratchy, keep trying different methods until you find something that makes you go "OMFG I DID THAT?!??"

Its your first piece here so its hard to judge your progress. You did a nice job but I would point out that even though this is a forest, the BG texture/coloring makes it seem more like an underwater scene. You gotta watch stuff like that. Your mind sees it but not every viewer will too.
