you upload your own work to this site, you do not take others work and pass it off as your own. who cares what will be in the final? THIS is the version you uploaded. it doesn't matter what you put in the description, you do not have his permission, and this has already been rejected since you stole randommonkies's artwork. it is more than simple inspiration.
being inspired (and giving due credit) is fine, but editting someone's work is not, even if you cite your references (which you didn't). these are the rules of the site, saying that the art will be different in the future is irrelevent to the state of the piece as it is.
You should be happy that I am inspired by you, I do not understand you. I'll say it again, it's a mockup, the rabbit will NOT YOURS. Understand this please ... Because it is important to you, I put your nickname in the description.
this is nothig short of dishonesty and a clear intent to deceive.
You either ask to use aspects of someone else's work or or give credit to original piece/ artist.
Doing neither of those things can get you in hot water/ piss people off.
Also the hasty change to the ears and colour palette only makes me question your integrity even more.
Why dont you give credit OR better yet just make an ORIGINAL character!?

Not to mention the fact that both of the pieces are about grassy platform bunnies with no arms or legs. 
Your picture was, at the very least, a reference.
Did you happen to use aspects of my work for this? Of the four shared colours between our two pallets two are identical and the other two are literally 1point difference in the RGB.
