@Jim Reed That's a funny cartoon. I'd not seen "Nogalo" before, but it's an interesting use of a similar idea.
I think if anything inspired this character it was Don Hertzfeldt's "Meaning of Life" cartoon. I didn't refer to it when making this creature, but that animation features many species of bizarre, multi-legged animals, and at least one of them rolls on its many feet.
Reminds me of the flag of the Isle of Man. Should have an armored version as a tough guy :).

I doubt that you plagiated a pretty obscure cartoon. I bet you just got the same idea. Anyway, take a look at the link, maybe it will help you to animate your threefeet character easier.
knytt needs interesting anything. This sprite is pretty amusing to watch and nicely done.
