wow you are quite an amazing artist. but yes, work on pixeling. its hard i know. also, i think this could probably go smaller without hurting too much but maybe not.... im no expert for sure, so take my words with a grain of salt. man i love those clifs. they're beautiful :) PLEASE make more im excited to see you improove
You'll be a force to be reckoned with once you understand pixel art better. Gleaming through this very nice scene, I see numerous pixel art technique blunders, due simply to ignorance though, not sloth or lack of ability. I wonder what you're 3rd submission will be . . .
Very nicely done. Some parts feel rough (like the clouds and the texturing on the water) but it is very pretty and impressively detailed all the same.
This is great. instant 5/5! Reminds me of fool's peice.
The 1-pixel lines on the cliffs are a bit unfiting. I mean the light lines on the dark cliff parts. It would look better with darker lines.
This piece definitely captures the power of the midday sun in the colors! Great work.
This is beautiful! I especially like the texture of the masonry.
It must still have hidden jpeg effects because it is showing colors very similar.
I used photoshop's save for jpeg and it looks perfectly the same around 50-60 colors.
Quite a hard work is done. Looks really amazing, but wise use of outlines would make it better.
And yes! It's to similar to Fools art (if the castle was surrounded with a forest or lava it would be more unique). 7/9.
Waiting attentively for your new pieces.
Yes, it's my first pixel-art :-)
I ll try to make the next with less colours.
Hm, odd, this still seems to have a lot of colours (837 to be exact).
hello all, thank for the comments !
skamocore : i put a better image, without compression.
onek : yes i know it, and i love it, it's really a masterpiece.
This is fantastic. The cliffs look a bit like plastic in some places (I think it's the creamy colors you used for southwest-facing cliffs), but the overall effect is very calming and pleasant. Great use of color, by the way. Especially on the water.
This seems to have been saved as a .jpg file at some point. Do you have a version of this image without any compression artifacts?
Merci! (j'avais oublié de mettre le detail file en png, donc elle passait pas)
Je suppose que l'intention est de montrer l'image entière telle que sur ton site? Dans ce cas il faut la télécharger en tant que 'detail file'.
C'est beau! Welcome to PJ!
Love the colors, awesome work.
