I like what you've done with it! The deconstruction really lets the individual pieces shine.  Bottom-middle is my favorite.

The truth, I felt the same impression as Fingerfoods.

So, I changed this pixel art for some combination,girl,island,drums,tree and background, include first submit.

I compared these with those, notice problems are DENDEN-DAIKO and tree's representation.

And so, I'd like to aim to more distinguish character from other things.

 Nice colors. I think it would look better if you removed everything but the girl, the island, and the bottom clouds. The background pieces are confusing and distracting.
