I like the simplicity of your pieces and subdued colors, you've understood what pixel art is about!

Here's a small edit.

Reduced color count (18 > 11, could go further; important thing is to re-use colors throughout the piece wherever possible, this helps unify a piece); moved character (too central), changed pose (leg, head, eye), added footsteps, cut outline under the foot (makes her really stand in the snow).
