perhaps instead of using the same color pallettes, why not incorperate the black and white yinyang theme you were going for? If you could do it again but with only black and white I think that would be pretty interesting.

I'm sorry but I scratched everything in this. I admit to using the palettes from the official sprites but I swear to have scratching them.

I do really like the idea.

And please know, I'm only looking out for you. but, you know it's copywrite infringement to just copy-paste an image. I don't mean to a jerk about it, but, if you'd like you can re-do it and draw the pokimon? I do really like the idea, and the ying-yang is well drawn.
