I'm trying to get it to look slightly rounded, thus I added, specifically on the sides of the monster, a light line. I was going to do the same for the other side as well as a hint of blue to give the water some reflection on the monster, however I completely forgot. =P

P.S.: I'm having some difficulties trying to understand the AA you used... why did you use the brighter colour next to the outline and than the darker one?

nice palette and pro pixelling (if i do say so myself), but I think you should utilize your 15 available colors. the yellow is a pretty stark jump
