The shading doesn't make alot of sense. Remember, you have to shade according to the shapes. This is especially prevalent in the ear, it implies that the ear is paper thin, which doesn't make sense. The shading on the feet implies that it has depth and kind of round, which makes sense, but for the rest of it it makes him look flat.
Do you understand what I'm saying?

Nice piece, although the ball of light seems rather flat... The rest of the picture makes up for it. Nice work on the shadows too.
Nice design, but the light although a very good start, still has some issues.
The light ball being the source should be much much brighter than anything else in the image (except speculars if any: in the eyes, teeth, other shiny parts).
Contrast on the hand should be extreme too, since it's the nearest lit object, and almost no light comes from below (except what little is reflected from the feet).
Last, the light circles on the face and body are nice, but they don't account for the angle light hits the surfaces: the more grazing, the less bright.
