Trying my hand at C64-style wide pixels.  Started off using the C64 palette but switched to grayscale because it looked vastly better.

 @Ixolite: I did originally have the laser in red, but it looked a bit off with him being in grayscale.

I would love to be able to get this to look right in the C64 palette, but those greens are just terrible. ;D

Hmm... I dunno waht to say. I presonally hate this kind of pixeling. BUT, if I liked the style, which you have used in your piece, Id say BRILLIANT! ... :)

From artistic point of view, it might look nice with the laser/flare being done in colour - just a thought.
