Also, it looks more like the biblical snake than a dragon (which admittedly I think makes for a more interesting piece...)
It can be 1 color but you do need to fix the line quality for it to work. 1 color and messy lines makes ugly art. You may need to add another color or 2 to fix maybe. Its got potential but needs more work.
Could be a dragon illustration from a medieval book.
