 This is part of a 500 x 300 collaboration at Pixel Inc., a forum I visit frequently. Each piece is 100 x 100.

I love how my piece turned out, though it is very plain. Oh well. I've tried pixel art before, but for some reason I like this one a little more than the rest. (Perhaps it's because I used no reference picture and had to go with my own imagination.) But yes, I think it turned out very well. ^.^

Cool waves! Tho this is a bit random, its interesting that pieces here at pixeljoint don't age which is the opposite for twitter. Posts die on social media withiin a day.

 Yes, i did it that way to match the rest of the piece  thank you both for commenting! i may go back and make it more realistic later... i'm feeling lazy right now though.

I agree, though the sand closer to the water should be darker, as it is wet.
