To be honest I actually really like this. Sure the darkest skin tone could use some more blue in it. The vibrant purple may be a horrid colour but it definately drew my eyes in to the focal points. The only thing I truelly dislike is the red and yellow in the eyeball. I liked it black and grey and how it was shaded in I think about frame 7 or 8 of your animation... maybe.

 How exactly is this horrid?  Dithering doesn't make something awful - I think he took a rather strange palette and an unconventional technique and made something of it.

 I agree that the glow-in-the-dark purple is awful, but this looks pretty good otherwise, although  the gray BG looks a little bit out of place.

the piece is a bit dirty, also I think you over saturated the purple colors. it seems irritating somehow.

The dithering seems a bit too rough and the AA and lines could be improved pretty much.
