@Sippy Cup: The wall you're referring to is on elevated ground. The lower portion is invisible due to the angle of the view. I see where you're coming from, though.
love the "brighty contrasty"-ness of it. lol shh its early!
i just noticed the back wall of the main chamber of chests seems to be missing its lower half.. it makes the prespective a bit wanky, if u see all the other walls have a lower and upper section.. anyways thought id point it out i think it looks great and also think theres nothing wrong with trying to make your graphics look similar to FE. fantastic job :D
Fire emblem style? To me it looks like a revamped version of dragon warrior.

I'd say it is too similar to FE, and I'm not sure it is a good thing. The graphics in FE is good, but why make graphics for your game that similar? First I've though on preview was 'isn't this ripped from FE?'. It would be better if it was more unique.
A bit hard to read in places, but this is very nice indeed.
The color of the grass os a bit too light and saturated compared to the rest.
And maybe the inside of the maze could be a bit darker, to give the feeling that it is a confined space.
On the positive side, I like the smooth transitions between tile types in the outside.
this totally reminds me of Fire Emblem, nice work dude!
