 Another one of my latest c64 pixels. This time it uses 13 of 16 c64 colors.
And again I used this dithering/hatching method that we called 136 colors technique. What is does is that when you mix every one with every one of 16 colors you get theoreticaly 136 colors. this looks good on old monitors or tv sets.

I also have to say this technique makes it easier to pixel with c64 multicolor restrictions

I love the coloring technique. Have you considered adressing anatomy errors on this and the other portraits though?

 It is multicolor, please check out CSDB it has an c64 executable. Running it on Vice with PAL emulation gives some impresion on how it could look on real machine.

this is multicolor, right? i wouldnt guess, it looks as if there is a lot more than 13 colors! -- too bad i dont have the gear to see it the way it should be viewed :( anyway, im wondering. . . why does he have his nose broken? :) love the lighting!
