Im actually really digging these.
Would be neat to see some more assymetrical ships, and less mirrored but this is still sweet.

yes, I designed some of them for different purposes, although I haven't fully decided about it yet. For example the one on the left is more like a support station for other ships: shield generator, repair center, energy source etc...
The one in the middle is a giant cannon, that can fire only once in a while, but with a long range, and has an extremely powerful shot.
The one on the right is the classic all-purpose destroyer.

These ships look like they're missing their outer hull armor and are easily destroyable. Especially that big one on the left, one good shot and the whole thing goes in half. 
But I can't argue with the prettyness of it all. 
Even though they might not be that impressive pixel art wise, I like their abstractness.
