This is a piece I submited to Silesia Party 4 this weekend. It won - thanks for all who voted. It's NUFLI which is not an easy mode to pixel thats why the pic has some clashes here and there but besides of that I'm quite happy with the final result. Ape is referenced from my own photo I took in Warsaws zoo.

Reminds me of Treasure Island.

man, this is real good! I love the atmosphere and the concept, and I have to say that this monkey scares me a lot D:

I also love the fact that you made water change color, and the colors you used.

The monkey was behind the glass window maybe because of some accidents that happened earlier ;)

congrats on winning the compo, carrion. i second the guys below, the chimp is really well done and so is the rest of the picture (love the water though i can spot a few clashes over the wooden(?) thing floating in it) -- you're getting really good at NUFLI! heheh, you probably know the stories about monkeys throwing *stuff* at people in the Warsaw zoo, right? :)

Ordinarily one might say this is way too much dithering, but in this case it's an absolutely amazing style. It looks almost like it has multiple layers. It looks great.

This piece is really well-done. I really love the feeling that the environment gives to it. The chimp is excellent as well! Keep it up.

love the chimp, you've captured the intended emotion perfectly. the dithering isn't even bothersome on an lcd screen, so I'm sure it looks great in its native environment.

Now this is awesome!

Love the way the reflections are in the water.
