I think your colours are fine, but your implementation is lacking.

Also, the nose looks like a big dick.

i think u could work on ur colors... they seem a bit washed out and unnatural and they lack contrast... aslo u have 72 colors. thats a LOT for this... its probably because you used semi transpency for those light rays and stuff... techniques like that are actually frowned upon here at pixeljoint..

try to reduce colors and create more lively ramps
