When Aliens took over the barren wasteland called Earth, they heard of the 'Legend of Telly', and decided to bring this myth to reality. They realised the brain gave off electrical signals, and so took a small boy, name retained, and replaced his head with the last television set. They got it working, but the humans weren't so eager to watch it...

I know, though I was going for a grainy, tv-like feel, which I think the dithering gives it.

Is this for the challenge? It isn't marked as such, and isn't a scene from an alien tv show, so I assume not.
