Much better than the gen 1 sprites, but something about squirtle's face seems a little wrong. I think it's the mouth.
Squirtle looks a little derpy, but that adds to his cuteness factor! X3

I have tried making custom poses for Pokemon sprites before, and always failed. These are great depictions of them, and inspiring me to try again. Again, great job.
