The character is good in every panel, but the texts: happy, angry etc. are too unreadable. And the small text in the 5th panel is way too small. the sad panels bg is pretty simple seeing to the others, which are quite good.
DId you use the predefined colors of paint for the background of the first image? They're way too much saturated imo. Man I do love the face in the fourth panel XD
This is looking good, but the 4th image (Angry) very much seems like a colour reduction ...!
Also, I'm confused with the Confused image. I can't tell whether it's "Razor Back" or "Razor Pack"...
They said it wasn't pixel art... that's weird, haha. I guess maybe panel 4? I did just brush in the colours and ran a threshold on it; I was after something gritty and ununiform there, and it was the easiest technique. But can't argue with that.
