Interesting backgrounds, I'd draw hero and enemies in a bit different style, but they doesn't disturb;)
You know it's retro when everyone except the main character looks the same and you can jump really high...XD I love it though, reminds me of Alien Hominid or that really old game on the amiga? ZX spectrum? Something about a cat or something...Wow, my memory is awful XD
