Sorry I took so long to reply! I some how missed your comment. Animated gifs aren't hard to do but do take time. There is lots of info on the web. You have to draw a sequence of pictures in which the part of the picture you want to move changes position and/or appearance a little bit in each picture (just like all animation).

I personally save all the pictures in the animation as seperate gif files and use a program to turn them into the animated gif and adjust how long each picture is on screen etc.

Google making animated gifs or creating animated gifs and you should find lots of info on the subject.
