Really good! Great work on fur simulation on such a small sprite.
Much better! I'm glad you agree the brighter thumbs help!
helped a lot actually. updated, hopefully for the better. I kept some stuff the same even though I'd agree it looks better, mostly for stylistic reasons.
I like him, I like him a lot.
Maybe tone down the highlight just a little? -not sure if you changed anything, but on second look it looks just right.

Here's an edit, both for colors and clusters. Hope it helps.
Thanks, I've tried to be more mindful of those things lately- subtle banding, cluster relationships. If you spot any particularly iffy clusters (the zigzag tetrominos? the horizontal highlight on the knee?) feel free to point them out, I wouldn't mind being aware of them.
I really like how you're paying attention to your pixel clusters in your latest pieces, it gives them a wholeness that is deceptively subtle -- less trained pixel artists or viewers won't know what it is about them that makes them tight, but it's there.
That said, there are still some dubious clusters here and there, but there'll probably always be - for all of us, don't mean it as a dig for your skill.
This is small so it's a good study for small clusters and how they all work together, fun to look at!
his face is awesome. The lightest bluey-gray shade seems a smidge bright but other than that i love it.
Awesome! Looks like something you'd encounter in the Quest for Glory games. :)
top right of the head looks like it could lose a pixel. Amazing work
