Yeah, I wouldn't lie about something like that, because I just don't care enough about this kind of competition.  I mean, heck, I haven't entered a single one in the past several years.

the point of a weekly challenge is that everyone has one week to make a piece according to the challenge guidelines. if people worked had stuff pre-made to submit, it wouldn't be very fair to the others. All part of that "challenge" aspect.

in the future, if it fits perfectly to challenge guidelines, just lie and we'll never know the difference use it as inspiration or something.

Well, that's too bad you're not flexible like that.   I really have no interest or time to make new stuff specifically for a challenge, so a rule like that means I'll never participate.  Seems like a waste when something I've made glove-fits it, but ... house rules apply.  

It's an interesting coincidence, but please don't submit existing work to weekly challenges; all challenge pieces should be created during the week. Also, the challenge requires just a sprite with transparency. Anyway, I've removed it from the challenge, but submitted it to your gallery.
