What I actually meant was the pixels size, and not the style, just the pixels shape. END.

Amstrad CPC pixels, actually. Never used an Apple II.
there were also EGA and VGA tweaks that would produce doubleheight pixels, too.

The pic is 326x540, so I'll be spending quite a while finishing it before i will post it here. At least it only uses 16colors for the foreground.

More old skool stylishness. Looks good, I didn't actually realise your avatar was an old system graphic until I saw that a couple of your works were also then I was like "oh look! So is the avatar!"
