I have been using Wacom tablets since 2005 pretty much exclusively for pretty much everything apart from some mouse driven games and 3D stuff. So yes, tablet.
And just another question - do you work with a mouse or a graphic tablet?

Several old graphic standards had tall pixels. There are 2 modes in EGA which have more or less tall pixels, the Amstrad CPC has a hires tall pixel mode, the Commodore Amiga has one as well and there are probably more. There could even be some arcade games with tall pixels.
Where the tall pixel comes from? is it TV or a sort of old computer monitor? Good image, anyway.

Good old Atari ST had a 640x200x4 mode with such tall pixels too.
