Looking at thins one and then at your gallery I guess you really dont like shading and getting around it any way possible :)
This pic is pixelart of the day to me. Although it looks like it needs something added or something subtracted, it immediately grabbed my attention.
I like how word 'preview' at the first glance looks like hair locks.
Maybe clubs need to be more defined to be more distinctive from spades if it is possible at this resolution.
Loks lovely, but still pretty static with the figure right in the midlle. Maybe try moving it to either 1/4 or 3/4 of the way, and see if it creates more interest (:
@Sasajun: Thanks!
@Jeremy: Thanks for the advice, I'll try moving it around and adding a few things so hopefully it'll appear more interesting.
@A.B. Lazer: I'm glad you like it! I was thinking of adding some cards poking slightly out of the bottom. We'll see how that goes. :) I'll tinker around with the club too and see if I can make it more differentiated from the spade.
@Riva: It's not that I don't like shading. If you look at this piece: http://www.pixeljoint.com/pixelart/54997.htm
I have shading. (Though I admit it is not very good shading)

Is a 2-bit experiment. Seeing what I can do using only black and white. Would it benefit with some more tones? Yes, I absolutely think so. But then the core idea and the self-imposed restriction I had in place would be lost.
I like to play around with ideas (which I use for my art), and see what 'look' would best fit that idea (in my mind).
Thank you all for commenting and critiquing, it's much appreciated. :]
