I also find the first wolf's head disappointing. Maybe if it was slighly separated from the leg, it would be more readable. Overall, it's a wonderful bestiary. Maybe it's not 100% consistent (some creatures are dead serious, some are very funny) but for a RPG it's not a problem,
I thought of castlevania mixed with the Mana series; very good. Fav'd and 5/5

these are great! really nice sense of character to for each sprite!
I want to say that the wolf could be improved a little, maybe try giving him an eye colour? He just seems to be missing somehting compared to the others, but still I think overall this looks great!
