best traced+color reduced image i've seen so far. grat job bro keep working on it.
the dithering really isn't helping the image here in most cases as the contrast is too high. the light blue/green dithering is ok because it's subtle, the rest is jarring. and the tracing of a photo doesn't help your dithering, pixelling helps your dithering. I'm just saying that tracing can turn into a bad habit if you revert to it instead of spending that time learning how to create images yourself.
I suppose that is true in some aspects, but it does help me practice my dithering... which is still basic, but I still find practice from it. And I enjoy having something to show, whether it be heavily-referenced or freehand.
while there's nothing inherently wrong with tracing photographs, it's unlikely to help you improve your artistic abilities.
